Coming soon to Salem
Japanese beef cutlet with a golden panko crust, served rosy inside and finished exactly the way you like it on your own hot stone.
What is gyukatsu?
Gyu means beef. Katsu means cutlet. Together, they become a distinctly Japanese experience: tender beef wrapped in a light, crisp panko crust and served with rice, cabbage and savory dipping sauces.
At Gyu-katsu Solo, the center arrives intentionally rosy. A personal hot stone lets you warm each slice to your ideal finish—one bite at a time.
Your table, your finish
There is no rush and no single “right” doneness. Taste the cutlet as served, then use the hot stone to discover the finish you like best.
Pair a slice with our house sauces, sea salt or a touch of wasabi.
Place it on your personal hot stone for a gentle tableside finish.
Savor it with steamed rice, miso soup and crisp shredded cabbage.
